Street Vibrations (September 25-27, 2009)  Rene and I (Sonny) set off on a three days ride to participate in the "Street Vibrations" festivities in Reno, NV.  We headed north like a bat out of hell on I-5, SR 99, and SR 41 to a viewpoint overlooking El Capitan and the valley of Yosemite NP.  After soaking up the spectacular sceneries and several Kodak moments, off we went trekking up SR 120 (Tioga Pass) revealing yet, more breathtaking sceneries of meadows dotted with alpine trees, lakes, and huge boulders of granite rocks that had been polished by a glacier long ago.  We camped at Topaz Lake with a million dollar lake view.  On Saturday, we met up with PHRC for a ride to Virginia City and around Lake Tahoe, literally, before heading back to Reno, and left for Auburn around 10 pm.  On Sunday, we travelled homebound on SR 49 passing by the mother lodes.  I'm so enchanted by its beauty and winding roads that I can hardly wait to go back.  play it
