Sturgis And Places In Between (August 2-9, 2008):  It's every riders dream to someday check out Sturgis Bike Rally and my dream came true.  Glenn and I embarked on a seven day epic rides through NV, AZ, UT, WY, SD, CO, & NM.  The first day, we rode approx. 700+ miles on the hot & boring I-15 to Lehi, UT.  We had the pleasure of riding to Barstow, CA with Ernie and to Las Vegas, NV with Elly and Jarad... Day 1 >>  Next, we rode the scenic US 189 through Bridal Veil Falls, awesome mountain ranges and lakes... Day 2 >>  We visited the myterious Devil's Tower in Wyoming, and walked the streets of downtown Sturgis, SD for some photo shoots and shopping.  We rode through the spectacular Black Hills and visited  the amazing Mt. Rushmore and  Crazy Horse Monuments. Day 3 >>... part 2 >> ... part 3 >>      We rode to Estes Park, CO  deemed gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park.  This park is breathtaking.  With peaks above 10,000 feet gives meaning to the word rocky mountain high...Day 4 >>....part 2 >>  We rode through Colorado Nat. Monument, an area of red sandstones monoliths and deep walled canyons are awe inspiring... Day 5 >>       Then to Arches NP where delicate natural sandstones arches and impossibly balanced rock are the amazing features... part 2 >>      Dead Horse Point State Park was spectacular and Million Dollar Highway was jaw-dropping... part 3 >>  These amazing cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde NP are the most significant and well preserved in the country... Day 6 >>   I had a blast at Four Corners Nat. Mon.  It is the only place where you can literally step on CO, NM, AZ, & UT all at the same time....part 2 >>   Zion National Park is amazing and spectacular.  Huge sculpted red sandstones, hanging gardens and spectacular gorge with strange colored sandstones are amazing....Day 7 >>  To show my ride my sincere appreciation for a  job well done...play it >>
